RULES OF ONLINE SALE OF ADMISSION TICKETS TO GDAŃSK ZOO


§ 1 General provisions


1.    These T&C determine the rules of selling tickets to the Gdańsk Zoo by using the website available at: https://bilety.zoo.gda.pl
2.    Please make careful purchases as online tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded and it is not possible to use the ticket on another date.
3.    The Zoo is open every day of the year, in each season, also on Saturdays, Sundays and all public holidays. For information on opening hours and admission prices for individual visiting periods, please visit https://zoo.gda.pl
4.    Ticket sales are available for individuals.
5.    The purchase of online tickets means acceptance of the T&C rules.


§ 2 Purchase of online tickets


1.    When making a purchase, select a specific time frame for your Zoo visit, then enter the buyer's first name, last name, telephone number, email address, city and type and number of tickets.
2.    If the buyer is planning a visit on the day of purchase of tickets, the transaction must be made no later than 2 hours before the closure of the Zoo.
3.    Online sales are available for normal, reduced and family tickets.
4.    If the buyer has ticked the "VAT Invoice - Yes"  box in the booking system, the invoice will be sent by electronic means.
5.    The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the invoice data provided.
6.    Tickets must be paid within four hours of booking, using the PayU system.
7.    According to the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance of 4 November 2014 on exemption from the obligation to keep records with the use of registration cash registers (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 1544), the sale of tickets for online orders and payments is not subject to fiscalisation - the Buyer does not receive the fiscal receipt.
8.    Ticket prices include VAT.
9.    Each ticket purchase transaction online will receive its number. Each buyer will receive tickets electronically (email with attached PDF file) to be printed by him/her. If there is no message in the general inbox, check SPAM or UNWANTED folders.
10.    Purchased and printed tickets authorise access to the Gdańsk Zoological Garden over the time period for which they were purchased, according to the price list.
11.    The buyer is responsible for the correct printout of tickets and their protection on his/her mailbox since it is not possible to send a ticket again.
12.    The Zoological Garden also allows visitors with online tickets to visit the Zoo without having to print the ticket, by using the buyer's electronic device - a smartphone.
13.    The Zoo is not responsible for the lack of readability due to poor technical condition or malfunction of such electronic device  - a smartphone.
14.    The person ordering and purchasing the concession/reduced ticket acknowledges and accepts that its use in the Zoo is only possible upon presenting of a relevant document confirming the entitlement to the concession. Reduced tickets without proof of entitlement do not entitle to enter the Zoo - they are void.
15.    Reduced tickets are for:
- children from 4 to 7;
- school youth;
- students up to age 26;
- pensioners and war veterans;
- people with mild and moderate disabilities.
16.    Documents that qualify for reduced admission tickets:
- document confirming the child's age;
- valid pupil/student ID card;
- pensioner, war veteran ID card;
- document confirming disability.
17.    Family tickets can be used by a single family of up to 5 people, including at least two children and no more than two parents or carers. The purchase of a family ticket is only possible after acceptance of the Rules of Purchase of the Family Admission Ticket to the Gdańsk Zoo.


§ 3 Data protection


1.    The ADO (Personal Data Administrator) of data collected through the Website www.zoo.gda.pl is the Zoological Garden in Gdańsk, with the registered address: ul. Karwieńska 3, 80-328 Gdańsk, NIP: 583-00-11-969, REGON: 190560361, email address: zoo@zoo.gda.pl - hereinafter referred to as the "Administrator" and being also the "Seller."
2.    Customer's personal data are processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 1182, as amended) (hereinafter referred to as the Data Protection Act) and the Act on the provision of online services of July 18, 2002 (Journal of Laws of 2013, item 1422, as amended).
3.    The Administrator takes special care to protect the interests of persons whose data are processed, and in particular ensures that the data collected by the Administrator are lawfully processed and collected for legitimate purposes, and are not further processed in violation of these purposes; such data are stored no longer than necessary to complete processing.
4.    By registering in the online sales system, the Customer consents to the storage and processing of personal data by the ADO in order to complete the order, enable necessary contact with the buyer, as well as perform any necessary actions for the proper functioning of the ticketing system.
5.    Providing personal information by the Customer is voluntary, although failure to disclose the personal data indicated on the Website necessary to conclude and execute the Sales Agreement results in the inability to conclude the said Agreement.
6.    During the execution of the Purchase Agreement, the Administrator makes available the collected personal data of the Customer to the selected electronic payment processor of the Website.
7.    The Administrator may process the following personal data of the Customers using the Website: first and last name; email address; contact phone number. For business Customers, the Administrator may also process the company's name and tax identification number, address of residence/business activity/seat.
8.    Customers have the right to access and correct their personal data.
9.    Each person has the right to control the processing of their data contained in the Administrator's database, and in particular the right to: request their completion, update, correction, temporarily or permanently suspend processing or remove them if they are incomplete, outdated, untrue or were collected in violation of the law, or are no longer needed to accomplish the purpose for which they were collected.
10.    The Administrator shall apply technical and organisational measures to ensure that personal data processed are safe from the related risks, abide by categories of data subject to protection and, in particular, the Administrator shall protect the data against unauthorised access or retrieval, processing in violation of applicable laws, as well as alteration, loss, damage or destruction.
11.    The Administrator shall appropriately provide the following technical measures to prevent the unauthorised acquisition or modification of electronically transmitted personal data:
11.1. Protecting the data against unauthorised access.
11.2. Accessing the Account only after entering an individual login and password.


§ 4 Final provisions


1.    These Terms and Conditions are available free of charge at https://bilety.zoo.gda.pl in a form that allows downloading, saving and printing.
2.    The Zoo reserves the right to modify these regulations. The revised regulations will be made public at https://bilety.zoo.gda.pl
3.    Complaints regarding the purchase of an online ticket will be considered within 14 days from the date of submission of the relevant application to: zoo@zoo.gda.pl
